Dwayne L. Watkins, MD

Dwayne L. Watkins MD, board-certified physician, received his Bachelor’s of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas Pharmacy School. He later went on to attain his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School and completed his residency training at Atlanta Medical Center.

Dwayne L. Watkins, MD is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, American Board of Internal Medicine, and has received specialized training in laser liposuction. He is currently CEO and Medical Director of Heartland Healthcare, Total Body, and Heartland College Park. Dwayne L. Watkins, MD is happily married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys training his youth in sports, traveling, and actively working as a member of his church.

Dwayne L. Watkins, MD has a passion for aesthetic medicine. He has been in practice for fifteen plus years. As an athlete at a younger age with three children, two of which compete at the collegiate level, health and fitness are the foundation of his life. Dwayne L. Watkins, MD studied at the University of Kansas where he received his undergraduate degree in pharmaceutical medicine and later attended medical school at the University of Kansas.

Dwayne L. Watkins, MD has been active in the aesthetic business for over eight years and is trained in multiple modalities from weight loss to liposuction as well as many other techniques. Dwayne L. Watkins, MD is always on the cutting edge of new treatments and modalities in the aesthetic sphere. His love and passion for the aesthetic business keep him motivated to perfect his skills with ongoing education and state of the art training. Dwayne L. Watkins, MD is married to his wife of twenty-three years who is also a physician. He is actively involved in his church and enjoys spending time watching his children compete. He also loves to travel.

Dwayne L. Watkins, MD is a licensed board-certified physician and he has received his Liposuction certification through EuroSpa. He is a member of The Obesity Medical Association and is Allergan certified physician. He is also a Certified Liposuction Physician through Osyris Lipotherme laser liposuction/total body contouring as well as previously a board-certified pharmacist ACLS PALS BLS certified.
